Community Affairs

One of the duties of the Community Affairs Committee is to welcome new residents to
Ormond. Area Captains (people who like to go out and meet new people)
are needed. A great way to meet people and share the Ormond Touch! This committee will also be responsible for coordinating all of the seasonal
events/activities. This committee needs people with excitement and
enthusiasm to plan and implement some fun filled social activities.
Membership / Sponsorship

The Membership / Sponsorship Committee works on getting new members, keeping loyal members,
and solicitation of new paid advertising for insertion into the OCA E-News.
They will also provide input for the
Advertising
and Sponsors Page of the OCA Website. Got a
hand? They could use your help.
Covenants and
Ordinances
-
The Covenants and Ordinances Committee will advise residents on
interpretation and enforcement of Covenants and work with the Parish and
community to address new or existing Ordinances. They will also be
responsible for the development of a Covenants dispute resolution work
process to resolve issues that arise from non-compliance. Want to be involved? Call any OCA Board Member.
Beautification
-
The Beautification Committee maintains the beauty of the median on
Ormond Boulevard, plus other areas in our development. They usually get together on Saturday mornings three
times a year for a couple of hours to spread mulch, plant trees, and perform
routine landscaping maintenance. Help maintain the beauty of Ormond by
lending a hand a couple of times per year.
Infrastructure

The Infrastructure Committee will proactively work to make sure that our
infrastructure is sufficient to preserve our lifestyles and maintain our
property values.
Ormond 5k Run / Pumpkin Patch
-
Our annual fund-raiser. This race throughout Ormond takes a lot of
volunteers on the day of the race. Please let the Chairman know if you
are willing to help out.
Public
Relations
-
The Public Relations Committee will concentrate on keeping
communications flowing freely between the OCA Board and members. The
committee will be responsible for publishing the OCA E-News and updating the
OCA Website. If you're good with communications and have ideas, join the committee.
